Welcome at Spark Village!

About Spark

Spark Village is a project where status holders, students and young workers build a community together. Located in Sciencepark, 240 residents take care of the neighborhood and each other.

Everyone is expected to be available one hour a week to work on this community. This can be done in many different ways! For example, there are various weekly activities in the Common Room and residents are encouraged to organize their own activities as well.

Spark Village owes this sense of community in part to the placement of the homes. The houses are containers converted into studios, and placed like a small village. At the beginning of Spark Village is the Common Room: a space where residents are welcome to meet and inspire each other.

Spark Village is also home to 6 community-builders. These are students and status holders who are extra committed to the community. They are the first point of contact for students, status holders and young workers and make everyone feel welcome.
